Can I just attend the Last Problem Solving Session(s) & still
do well on the exam? |
Not Likely. To receive the BEST results with Jason's Program, you
must attend ALL the reviews.
Attending only the problem solving session will still be very beneficial
but it is very fast paced and the
amount of material you learn in one night can be very overwhelming.
Plus, you run the risk of not
getting every concept reviewed that was thoroughly covered
at the previous sessions. Statistics prove
that a top grade from just 1 "cram" session is highly unlikely.
Remember: Chemistry is a problem solving science and takes
time to learn and master the material.
So don't cheat yourself out of a good grade. Make the commitment to
attend all the sessions in the course
and you will see a dramatic improvement in your test scores! |
|
What should I bring to the sessions? |
|
Please be sure to bring the following to
all sessions:
- Calculator (required)
- Notebook
- Pen/Pencil
- Highlighter (optional but recommended)
- Coffee/ Food

What happens if I forget to email? Can I still attend? |
|
We strongly recommend that you please email to
reserve your spot for our own administrative purposes. However, if
you forget to email, you will still be allowed to attend. Just inform
our staff when you arrive.
|
|
What happens if I come late? Can I still attend? |
|
Yes, of course. You are more than welcome to
attend if you arrive late to a session. However we suggest that
you get the notes from a fellow student for the material you missed
or see Jason during the break or after the session to get caught
up.
|
|
If I arrive late, is there a discount off the session? |
|
All sessions are a FLAT fee and are not based
on a hourly rate. If you arrive late, you will still be charged
the same full session price. A discount will only be applied if
you arrive 2 hours before the end of a session. If you do plan to
arrive late, it is to your benefit to get to the session as soon
as possible to avoid missing critical exam material.
|
|
How Long is each session? |
|
Each group session will run approximately 6 hours
with ONE 30 min break in between. Evening sessions during Fall/Spring
semesters are scheduled to end all 11pm. However, depending on overall
pace, certain sessions may be extended 'til midnight or later. Jason
will inform you when sessions extend beyond 11pm. We highly suggest
you get plenty of rest and /or bring plenty of food & caffeine
to maintain stamina. Remember: Our sessions come only ONCE a month
with no alternate reviews. Jason's sessions are intense but well
worth it for the amount of material you learn. Please plan accordingly
to be present and well rested for all sessions.
|
|
Do I need to review the material ahead of time before attending? |
Jason will teach you all the material from scratch assuming no prior
knowledge of the material. However, you will receive
the maximum comprehension from each session & best results on
the exams if you have atleast skimmed the chapter or lecture notes
ahead of time. |
